Welcome the the under 6's page on the Pitstone and Ivinghoe Junior football Club website. We are currently recruiting for young, budding talent - both male and female to join us at the start of the 2011/12 season which is due to kick off in September. If you have a son or daughter that is age 5 as of midnight August 31, 2011 and is interested in joining in with our fun-filled sessions, then please don't hesitate to get in touch by email scottbeattie@pandifootball.net or phone; contact details can be found under the team details section, right hand side of this webpage.
Training session will be held at the Ivinghoe lawn on Sunday mornings from 10am to 11am during which the coaches will aim to deliver a number of fun games/activities for all children to participate in and enjoy. As the season progresses, small sided mini-soccer matches will be introduced into the sessions in preparation for the seasons to follow!
It's a fantastic age group which most managers' look back on years later to cast comparisons over how the players have improved individually and collectively. The raw enthusiasm that many of the children exude at this age is a perfect ingredient for many interesting and generally noisy sessions!
As a club, our ethos is very much about providing equal opportunities to all that are interested in joining in with our football sessions - regardless of ability. Our aim is to provide a forum of fun through which children can learn and develop football skills while also benefitting from light exercise and of course developing social skills through this wonderful team-based game.
