2015 Presentation Day Update

posted 13 May 2015, 10:17 by Jim Fisher   [ updated 13 May 2015, 10:22 ]

Huge thanks to all managers, assistant coaches and parents that pitched-in to make this season's Presentation Day a resounding success (also helped somewhat by the weather!).   The day was attended by all age-groups, with players enjoying a variety of activities such as "Soak your Coach", inflatable assult course, inflatable subbuteo and 7-aside soccer matches.

As usual, the BBQ was a great success along with the tea and cake stall (a guaranteed sugar-rush for the kids!!!).

The raffle was extremely successful, thanks to a sterling effort on the sales-front by Danielle and Kiera.  Massive thanks also go out to all of the companies that supported the Club by way of donations:

It's always great to see players, families and friends enjoying themselves at this one annual event that brings all age-groups together... can't wait to do it all again next season!

Watford FC pass on coaching drills to P&I JFC managers

posted 7 Feb 2015, 13:05 by Jim Fisher   [ updated 11 Mar 2015, 12:40 ]

Back in November 2014, a number of coaching drills were kindly delivered by Paul King of Watford FC Community Sports & Education Trust.  In the region of 10 P&I JFC coaches joined in with the fun-filled sessions, picking up some very useful drils that they can pass on to their respective age-groups.

The session was extremely productive, and was not hindered too much by the varying abilities of some of the coaches!!!  A number of the drills were recorded, and are now available for public viewing via the Pitstone and Ivinghoe Google+ page and Pitstone and Ivinghoe JFC YouTube channel.

We plan to build on the newly-formed relationship that we have with Watford FC in the coming months, and have every confidence that it will provide learning opportunities for coaches and players alike.

All at Pitstone and Ivinghoe JFC would like to express their appreciation and thanks to Paul King for giving up his time.

Kirk Rogers
Dear players, parents and supporters,

Welcome to the start of the 2012/13 football season.

I would like to thank all the players for signing up and registering with the club, all our teams are now underway with their training programmes and match schedules, managers and players are fit and ready for the season ahead.

This year we are again very lucky to have teams from Under 6's to Under 16's and I am sure we will have another very successful season at every age group.

Thanks in advance to parents and supporters for your commitment to the club, dropping off your child / children at training and attending and supporting their matches - home and away.

We still have capacity at every age group for additional players, so if you know of any one looking to join, please ask them to make contact with the club.

Good luck to all and remember to enjoy the football.
