Team wins Star Performer award from South Bucks Youth League

Stuart Moss U18 Coach.
"Those attending the U20s England game tonight are very proud to be there, representing both our Club and the South Bucks Youth League.
I've been involved at P&I for 12 years with the same group of players, and each year we work hard to ensure their fairplay attitude both on and off the pitch is exemplary. With them being the oldest age group in the club this year, they are now role models to the younger age groups, and it's fantastic that they are being recognised for their positive behaviour in such a fashion".

Pitstone & Ivinghoe JFC U16s have enjoyed a fantastic 2018-19 season, winning three separate competitions. Playing in the Wycombe & South Bucks League against teams spread around the home counties, including Bourne End, Risborough and Berkhamsted, they were crowned Division Champions, winning 14 out of the 16 league games. They also won the U16 Subsidiary Cup as well as the Aylesbury JFC 6-aside tournament, sweeping Hemel Hempstead aside in the semi-final, and winning the final on penalties against Ruislip Rangers. Playing their home matches at Pitstone Pavilion, over the course of the season they won 18 matches, losing 3, scored 100 goals and conceded just 23. A fantastic achievement for the 19 strong squad, some of which have played for their local Club since U6s, some 11 years ago. They look forward to playing in the South Bucks Youth League next season, which begins on Sunday 8 September, where they will be playing up an age group at U18 level

On December 19th  members of the Pitstone & Ivinghoe U12 & U14 Girls Football Teams had a special training session run by Charlotte Phillips.   Charlotte is a professional football coach who works as Director of Football in Boston, USA.   Charlotte attended Cheddington and Tring Schools, undertook her degree at Loughborough University and worked previously for Arsenal FC setting up their academy in Bahrain before moving to the USA.

Charlotte’s enthusiasm and professional coaching skills encouraged the girls and taught them some new skills, the players enjoyed meeting Charlotte and hearing about her career. The girls had great fun and we plan to have future training sessions with Charlotte when she’s back in the UK.

If you fancy joining the football teams, we have FA qualified coaches and we welcome all abilities from school years 6-7 or 8-9.   We play or matches locally on Saturday’s and train mid-week.   Check out the team pages and come along to meet new friends, keep fit and have fun.
